Fingerprint Flower Vase
Materials Required
- Empty Glass Jar
- Enamel Paint (purple, pink, yellow)
Instructions
- The first step would be to make sure that you have read the instructions at the back of the enamel properly.
- Clean the jar and dry it. Remove the labels on the jar, if any.
- Now, make the preschooler dip his/her fingers into the paint.
- Let him make dots on the jar, so that they form the petals of a flower.
- Make the kid wash his/her hand properly.
- Now, dip his/her fingers into another color and make a dot on the center of the flower, painted on the jar.
- Repeat the process until the child has made four to seven flowers on the jar, depending on its size.
- Let the paint dry well.
- The fingerprint flower vase is ready to be gifted to the kid’s mother.
Sunshine Flower Pot
Materials Required
- Styrofoam Cup
- Small Chunk of Floral Foam
- Colorful Buttons
- White Craft Glue
- Yellow Acrylic Paint
- Paintbrush
Instructions
- The first step would be to paint the Styrofoam cup in yellow color.
- Let the child start painting from the inside and then proceed to the outside
- Allow the paint to dry completely, before going further.
- Now, let the child stick buttons around the rim of the cup. Make sure that he/she sticks a different button each time.
- Leave the cup for sometime, to let the buttons stick.
- Insert a small chunk of foam inside the flower pot.
- Add real or artificial flowers to it.
- The sunshine flower pot is ready to be gifted.
