Kids Crafts For Mother's Day

Fingerprint Flower Vase

Materials Required:
  • Enamel paints (yellow, purple, and pink)
  • An empty glass jar
How To Make It:
  • Take a clean glass jar, dry and make sure there is no label on it. Hold jar by the mouth to avoid grabbing wet paint.
  • Read instructions on the back of the enamel paint.
  • Dip your fingertips in the paint and dot on to the glass to form the petals of the flowers.
  • Repeat this to form the center of the flowers.
  • Alternate the colors of the flowers with pink, yellow, and purple.
  • Let the paint dry, read the instructions for drying of paints on the enamel bottle. It might require baking or just simple air-drying for longer time up to three weeks.
Button Bracelet Craft

Materials Required:
  • One piece of elastic cord, 10-12 inches long.
  • Scissors
  • Colorful shank buttons
How To Make It:
  • Take a button and string it on to the cord.
  • Leave the button about 3 inches from one end and tie a knot to hold it.
  • Continue stringing on for more colorful buttons.
  • Tie each one on with a knot.
  • As you come to the end of the cord, check the size of the bracelet by wearing around wrist.
  • Stop when the bracelet fits loosely around the wrist.
  • Tie a knot at the two ends together and the bracelet is ready.
Helping Hands Craft For Mom

Materials Required:
  • Colored paper
  • Scissors
  • Sand or Styrofoam
  • Florist picks or straws
  • Tape
  • Tacky glue
  • Flower pot (optional)
How To Make It:
  • Trace your Childs hand on a colored paper 4-6 times. Cut out the traced shapes.
  • Take a green colored paper and cut out the shapes of leaves.
  • Write some beautiful messages on the hands such as ‘I love you’, or ‘a big hug’ etc.
  • Take the florist pick and tape the hands to the backside. Add paper leaves if desired.
  • Fill the pot with sand or Styrofoam.
  • If you are using sand, make sure to cover the drainage hole by putting a tape on it.
  • Now put the flowers in the pot and it is ready.
  • For that extra special touch, fill the pots with treats like chocolates or candies.
Cutlery Wind Chimes

Materials Required:
  • A Sharp Pencil
  • A Paper Plate
  • A Pair Of Scissors
  • Some String Or Yarn
  • Some Plastic Cutlery
How To Make It:
  • Firstly, cut around seven strings into 4 to 6 inches of length.
  • Next, tie the strings to the ends of the cutlery.
  • Next, poke some holes carefully into the paper plate, thread the string through, and tie a knot for each piece.
  • Lastly fasten three pieces of strings to the top of the plate.
  • You can decorate the plate with crayons, paints, colored papers or markers
