Mother's Day Craft Ideas For Teenagers
Button Beaded Bracelet
What You'll Need:
- Beautiful collection of beads and buttons.
- Jewelry string
- End closures
- Spring clips
- Crimping beads
- Needle-nose pliers
How To Make It:
- Lay out buttons and beads in the attractive pattern of your choice.
- Cut approximately 16 inches of jewelry string.
- Secure one end of the jewelry string with a spring clip.
- Next, string beads and buttons onto the string, leaving gap of four inches on each side for adding end closures. (Before adding closures, check the length. It might be that you would need to adjust the length. Adjusting the length will be easy before the closures are in place.)
- After adding the closures, string a crimping bead onto one end of jewelry string.
- String one half of the closure, and then bend the wire, returning down the opposite way, through the crimping bead.
- Crimp it tightly with the needle-nose pliers.
- Using the same method on the other end, secure other half of the closure.
- This will create a nice clasp.
- From each end, cut off excess string.
Decorated Clay Flower Pot
What You Will Need:
- Terracotta or plastic pot
- Craft Glue
- Small pretty stones
- Small shells
- Beads
- Permanent markers
- Acrylic paint
- Sealer
- Plant for the pots
How To Make It:
- Make attractive patterns on the pot with the help of markers.
- Paint the patterns using different colored paints.
- Paint the pot in your desired colors. ( If you are using acrylic paints, let the paint dry and apply sealer as directed on the can.)
- Decorate the pot with beads pretty stones, or shells.
- Gift the decorated pot to your Mom, after planting one of your Mom's favorite plants.

What You Will Need:
- Small box with a lid (you can choose shoe box with a lid.)
- Paintbrush or foam brush
- Scissors
- Colorful scrapbook paper
- Craft glue
- Buttons
- Colored stones
- Beads
- Trinkets
How To Make It:
- Cut pieces of scrapbook paper to cover each side of the box including the top of the box lid.
- You can use one piece per side or use together several small pieces in collage style.
- Using craft glue on the paper pieces, paste the papers, the way you desire.
- Once you have covered the box, seal the surface of the paper with glue, and let it dry.
- Decorate the box, by pasting colored stones, beads, trinkets, and buttons.
