Blythe Danner was born on 3 February 1943 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. Blythe had started her career in the Boston theater companies. She won the Theater World Award for her performance in Moliere's The Miser. After that she won the Tony Award for her acting in Butterflies Are Free. She made her film premiere with Dr. Cook's Garden in 1971. She often appeared on Will & Grace as Will Truman's mother Marilynfrom 2001 to 2006. From 2004 to 2006, she appeared in a TV series called Huff. She earned three Emmy Award nominations from 2001 to 2006 for her work on Will &'Grace', 'Huff' and 'Back When We Were Grownups' which she eventually won for Huff. In July 2006, Blythe won a second consecutive Emmy award for Huff. For 25 years, she has been a regular performer at the Williamstown Summer Theater Festival, where Blythe also serves on the Board of Directors. Danner received an inaugural Katharine Hepburn Medal, alongside fellow honoree Lauren Bacall in 2006by Bryn Mawr College's Katharine Houghton Hepburn Center, which recognizes "women whose lives, work and contributions embody the intelligence, drive and independence of the four-time-Oscar-winning actress,"She is also very famous for being the wife of the noted director Bruce Paltrow. She is also known for her famous acting children Gwyneth Paltrow and Jake Paltrow.Danner first co-starred with her daughter in 1992 in the TV movie Cruel Doubt and then again in the 2003 film Sylvia playing Aurelia Plath, mother to Gwyneth Paltrow's title role as Sylvia Plath.

Born on the 27th of September, 1972 in Los Angeles, California,Gwyneth Paltrow is an American actress and singer.She is the daughter of the well-known film director Bruce Paltrow and the famous award winning actress Blythe Danner. After spending several summers watching her mother perform at the Williamstown Theatre Festival in Massachusetts, Paltrow made her professional stage debut there in 1990. She made a film debut with Shout (1991), starring John Travolta, and was also cast by Steven Spielberg for his film Hook (1991), as the young Wendy Darling. She then played some minor roles in Malice (1993) and Flesh and Bone (1993). She played a supporting role in Seven (1995) alongside Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman and earned a Satellite Award nomination. In 1996, she played the title character in Emma,which was very highly acclaimed. However her career reached its culmination whenshe was awarded the Academy Award for her performance in Shakespeare in Love (1998). Since the Oscar for Shakespeare in Love, Paltrow's film careerwent into a slump. She said that she was unequipped for the pressures, which lead her to several bad movie choices. During this time, Paltrow rarely appeared in films, having taken a career hiatus to raise her family. In an interview, she said to have divided her career into movies for love and films for money. Quite evidently, where her films like 'The Royal Tenenbaums', 'Proof and Sylvia' fall into the first category the others like 'View from the Top' and 'Shallow Hal' fall into the latter.

Paltrow met Chris Martin of the British rock group Coldplay In October 2002, few weeks after the death of her father, Bruce Paltrow. They married on December 5, 2003 in a ceremony at a hotel in Southern California. She had her first child, a girl on 14 May 2004, whom she named Apple Blythe Alison Martin.Her second child, a boy named Moses Bruce Anthony Martin, was born on 8 April 2006.
