Ingredients
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup smooth Peanut Butter (you can use crunchy if you like)
  • 1 Egg
  • A bag of chocolate stars or Hershey's kisses
Directions
  • Mix the sugar, peanut butter, and egg together in a bowl.
  • Roll dough into walnut size balls. Place on a cookie sheet and with your thumb make a well in the centre of each and place a chocolate star.
  • Bake at 350° for 12 minutes and let them cool.

  • 2 1/2 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Softened Butter
  • 1 cup packed light brown Sugar
  • 1 cup granulated White Sugar
  • 1 cup crunchy Peanut Butter
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 2 tsp Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup finely chopped Peanuts
Directions
  • Preheat oven to a temperature of 350 degrees F.
  • Lightly lubricate the cookie sheet.
  • Take a medium sized bowl, mix flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt and put it aside.
  • Take another large bowl and smoothen cream butter, brown sugar, and white sugar in it. Blend in peanut butter properly so that it is fully mixed.
  • Now add eggs, one by one. Then add vanilla and mix well.
  • Mix dry ingredients into this peanut butter mixture with eggs and vanilla. Mix them properly. The dough for preparing cookies is now ready.
  • Make walnut sized balls by rolling the dough.
  • Put these balls on the cookie sheet and compress them from middle with a fork.
  • Give 10-12 minutes of baking. After this, let it settle for 5 minutes on the baking sheets.

  • Mix flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a large bowl.
  • Use a pastry blender to cut in shortening. Continue until a coarse mixture comes out.
  • The cookie mix is ready for making cookies.
  • Keep it in an airtight jar. Best before six months at low temperature, preferably keep it in freezer.
For Peanut Butter Cookies
  • Preheat oven, raising its temperature to 375 degrees F.
  • Take 1 ½ cup of homemade cookie mix, peanut butter, egg, water and vanilla and blend them in a large mixing bowl. Continue to stir until it gets well blended.
  • Use this dough like preparation to form 1-inch balls. Add chopped peanuts.
  • Put these balls, 2-inch apart, on the cookie sheet.
  • Give 8 to 10 minutes of baking. As light brown colour on the edges of cookies is found, they are done.
  • Make a ½ inch wide notch in each of these cookies with the rounded handle of wooden spoon.
  • Take 1/4 teaspoon jam to fill these notches.
  • Place the cookies on cooling racks for complete cooling.
